Online Learning offers a variety of accessibility training sessions for faculty and staff developing online materials. If a scheduled training does not work with your schedule, please set up a one-on-one appointment with our Accessibility Advocate, Rondi Schei. Accessible Web (HTML) Pages in D2L Brightspace
Learn how to create accessible HTML pages in D2L Brightspace using headings, lists, images, videos, tables, equations, and more! We will also discuss when to use HTML pages and when to use a Word/PDF document. Bring a file (preferably Word) that you would like to convert to an HTML page (i.e. your Syllabus). Note: No prior knowledge of creating HTML pages required.

Learn how create accessible PowerPoints. In this session we will cover how to ensure that all the text on your slide can be read by a screen reader, how to insert alternative text for images, how to maintain proper reading order, how to choose colors, etc.
