Public Service Loan Forgiveness
The PSLF Program forgives the remaining balance on your Direct Loans after you have made 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan while working full-time for a qualifying employer, and PCC is a qualifying employer.
You may qualify for loan forgiveness by:
- Working for a qualifying employer
- PCC is a qualifying employer
- Other public institutions may also qualify
- Working full-time at a qualifying employer
- You may combine your hours from multiple qualifying employers
- Have Direct Loan
- Or consolidate other federal student loans into a Direct Loan
- Repay your loans under an income-driven repayment plan
- Make 120 qualifying payment

If you’re looking to apply for either the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) or Temporary Expanded Public Service Loan Forgiveness (TEPSLF) Programs, you can find information on the application process at studentaid.gov. The PSLF Application is also available from the Federal Student Aid page. If FedLoan Servicing is already your servicer, you may upload your PSLF form on FedLoan Servicing’s website
When you need page 2 of your form completed by PCC as your employer, please email the form to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include in the subject line your Name, PSLF form, and date you’re sending it. Example: Dawn Hoyt, PSLF Form, 072721. Why? It ensures each request is easy to identify!
If you are currently a PCC Employee, please submit this request from your PCC email account.
Forms will be emailed back to the email account the request was received from.
