PCC offers a comprehensive benefit package designed to provide employees and their families, including domestic partners, with a broad range of employer and employee paid benefit options.

All employees who are subject to Federal Insurance Contribution Act (FICA) taxes are eligible for the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and may contribute toward retirement savings plans (403b and 457b). Employees may be eligible for additional benefits depending on their classification or other criteria.
Eligibility
- Full and Part-time Classified, Managerial, Academic Professional, and Confidential employees: Eligible for the benefits listed below, unless otherwise indicated.
- Full-time faculty: Eligible for the benefits listed below unless otherwise indicated.
- Part-time faculty: Eligible for Health Insurance Trust Fund, Group Medical Benefits (those who meet established eligibility criteria), and other benefits marked with single asterisk (*).
- Casual employees: Eligible for retirement, Oregon Savings Growth Plan (457 Plan), Tax Deferred Annuity Plan (403b Plan), and OnPoint Community Credit Union.
Enrollment
Eligible employees will be enrolled in the EAP automatically. You may add other benefits in Workday, with exception of the items listed below.
For medical, dental, vision, life, accidental death and dismemberment, and long-term care insurance, you must enroll or opt out online in MyOEBB in the specified enrollment time frame.
- New employees: Watch the Benefits Orientation Course (link coming). You must enroll or opt out in MyOEBB within 31 days of becoming eligible.
- Open enrollment: Enroll or make changes to your current benefit plans during the open enrollment period, August 15 to September 15, with changes effective October 1.
- Mid-year changes: Certain qualified status changes, such as the birth of a child, adoption, marriage, newly formed domestic partnership, or loss of other coverage may permit insurance enrollment. You must notify Benefits and enroll within 31 days of the event.
