Individualized Chess Lessons

Whether you are new to chess or an advanced player, learn the fundamentals of the game, tips and tactics and how to progress in your skills. Practice with a nationally ranked instructor and learn from your own gameplay to develop winning strategies with a flexible lesson plan personalized especially for you.

Program Details
  • Review the instructor bio and schedules to select and register for a package.
  • Sessions are 50 minutes and David will contact you by the first week of the term to schedule your sessions. Use your sessions within the term; no refunds for unused sessions. Individual sessions must be cancelled with David 24 hours in advance; otherwise the session is counted against your package total. You must be registered before participating in a session.

Refund/Drop Policy

If you want to drop, you must do so online via MyPCC or by contacting a Registration office within six calendar days after the start of the term. No drops or refunds on partially used  packages.

David is a lifelong chess player. He learned chess at a young age, competing in national tournaments throughout his scholastic years, and has been teaching chess since 2004. David believes anyone can and should learn how to play as academic studies show chess can boost creativity, improve concentration and even optimize memory. Whether you’re learning chess as a new hobby or are an advanced player, David can help you sharpen your skills and have fun along the way!
