Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon completion of the course students should be able to:
- Apply the principles of kinesiology and biomechanics, including the six motor skill-related fitness components, to functional movement assessment and exercise.
- Identify joint range of motion specific to each major muscle group.
- Analyze the structure and function of the major joints of the vertebral column, upper extremity and lower extremities.
- Identify and analyze the gait cycle.
