Course Description
Covers plan reading for engineered construction projects. Focuses on construction estimates and computer-based tools. Prerequisites/concurrent: CCET 100. Audit available.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon completion of the course students should be able to:
- Identify the parts of a construction plan.
- Measure quantities of the components in a civil engineering construction project including length, area and volume.
- Create estimates of costs for quantities using computer-based spreadsheets.
- Use computer spreadsheet applications to solve civil and construction engineering problems.
