Course Description
For employees of contacted organizations only. This AHA course addresses the core knowledge necessary to assess and manage a pediatric patient, focusing on assessment and intervention skills. Pre-req: Basic ECG skills and PALS pre-test.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Participants who successful complete this course will be able to:
1. Participate as active and contributing team member or leader in adult emergency cardiovascular care situations.
2. Recognize the indication for and apply appropriate and effective interventions that follow current AHA PALS/ECC guidelines.
