Details about this class
Dive deeper into the elements and principles of sculpture with plaster and clay! We will work on a clay portrait bust, sculpt plaster forms, make 2-part plaster molds and do some body casting. No experience necessary but a willingness to get your hands dirty and ART 117-Basic Design are a big plus.
Technology
This class will meet in-person, face-to-face with minimal technology required, you will upload your assignments to d2L
Some course content will be delivered through email and/or D2L as needed.
All materials will be provided for you or at low cost and available at the bookstore, hardware store or home depot/lowes. Expect to pay $50-$75 in materials throughout the term.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
