Also known as “The Fourth Genre” (since it is not exactly Drama, Fiction, or Poetry), the art of Creative Nonfiction can encompass everything from a prose poem to straight-forward journalism; hence, its definition is a slippery fish. What, exactly, is Creative Nonfiction? If fiction is “not true,” then nonfiction is “not not true,” right? Not enough for you? Explore the links below, and enjoy the fruits of this side-project from Vandoren Wheeler’s Writing 240 at PCC Sylvania. After you are done, sign up for one PCC’s most innovative, engaging writing courses, taught by a variety of talented writers: Creative Nonfiction, WR 240.
(Props to the students that put this together: Michelle Anderson, Andrew Brookins, Mark Harwood, Eamonn Kearney, and Spencer Morris)
