 Seth Bloombaum, Instructor in Multimedia
Welcome to my Home Page For the Fall, 2009 term, I'll be teaching MM260, Video Production 1, and MM160, Marketing Yourself as a Multimedia Professional.
For Winter 2010, I anticipate teaching MM236, Internet Delivery of Video and Audio, and, perhaps, MM260, Video Production 1. This is subject to some further scheduling work, and is not yet confirmed.
For Spring 2010, I anticipate teaching MM160, Marketing Yourself as a Multimedia Professional, and, if it is not offered in the Winter term, MM260, Video Production 1.
The Cost of Success With the economy and the increasing recognition our program is receiving, it should be no surprise that Multimedia enrollment is higher than it's ever been, and is still going up!
In years past, we've wondered; "Will we have enough students to run the course?" No longer! It seems that any course in the 100 series, and any video-related course we offer will not only be full, there will be many students on the waitlist. We'd like to accommodate every student, but our rooms/labs hold 24 students, we only have so many cameras...
Part of this is our newest certificate, in Video Production. Students have heard of it, and are seeking it! Which is very encouraging! And also challenging for the department and instructors. We're facing capacity issues, working to accommodate as many students as possible, without negatively impacting everyone's learning opportunity.
Best advice: Register early, register often, avoid disappointment. Stay in touch with the department, we're working hard for you, that's why we're here.
