I graduated from PCC in summer term 2000 with an AAOT-Oregon Transfer degree, and began working here that same fall. I received my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Eastern Oregon University in 2008.
Here's my history at PCC:
I started working at PCC in September 2000 as a part-time Administrative Assistant for the Engineering and Drafting Departments on the Sylvania Campus. That was a great place to start.
A year later I moved to Rock Creek for a full-time job as an Administrative Assistant for the Student Services Department at the Rock Creek Campus. I was sorry to leave Sylvania, but Rock Creek is so beautiful and the employees are great, so it was an easy adjustment.
In April 2002 I became the Class Scheduling Coordinator, which was part of Student Records. I continued in that position until I joined the TSS (Technology Solutions Services) Training Team at Cascade Campus in November 2004. In July of 2005 the Training Team moved to the Sylvania campus.
From May 2006 through June 2007 I worked as the Interim Manager of Student Records at Rock Creek. This was a great opportunity for me, and turned into a very challenging and rewarding position. It was a hard year, but we accomplished a lot.
I returned to the TSS Training Team for just a short while in June and July 2007, and then returned to a new and improved version of the Class Scheduling Coordinator position that I held previously. This job, which started at Sylvania and moved to Rock Creek in October 2008, is now located in the new PCC Downtown Center. I'm thrilled to be back in Enrollment Services, this time in Student Systems Support, and I love working downtown. Has anyone else at PCC worked at so many locations?
