I have been a nursing instructor at Portland Community College for 9 years.  My nursing background includes being a psychiatric nurses aide in Montana where I became an LPN.  After moving to Oregon I went back to school and earned my associate in applied science in nursing (just like your degree will be!!).  I practiced at Bess Kaiser Hospital in North Portland in the ICU/CCU and telemetry step down unit.  Again, I returned to school at the University of Portland and received my bachelor's of science in Nursing and my master of Science degree.  I was a certified Adult Nurse Practitioner as well as an instructor for several years, then I decided to teach full time and gave up my ANP license.

I live in downtown Portland with my two cats, Baby and Ashley. 

Decafe mochas are always appropriate, as is fine jewelry.
