Best Essay Prize

The Writing Center Best Essay Prize is awarded to the top three essays  by current Rock Creek WR 121 students

Winning essays will be chosen by Writing Center tutors. 

The prize is offered for the fall, winter, and spring terms.

Fall Deadline: TBA

Instructions for WR 121 Instructors:

• Instructors may nominate up to two essays per class.  The essays should be narrative and/or descriptive in mode.

• Make sure the essay has the student's name and phone number as well as the instructor's name on it  (All names will be removed until judging is complete.)

• All essays must be typed.

• Put one copy of each essay in the mailroom slot for Alison Apotheker.
