We do exciting things in the MIT division. Learners come to us to develop skills in a variety of career and technical education (CTE) areas such as automotive service technology and machine manufacturing technology. Lower-division transfer students intent on moving to a 4-year institution find the math classes essential.

About Dan Findley
Daniel E. (Dan) Findley has years of experience working in education in both adult and K-12 settings. He blends his expertise in education with practical and theoretical knowledge from the field of business, particularly in the area of marketing and training. A long-time proponent of the effectiveness of educational technology, Dan has taught a number of well-received classes that help students blend the intricacies of technology with the realities of education. His managerial experience includes work with small businesses and high-tech start-ups. Dan currently serves as division dean for the Math and Industrial Technology at Portland Community College-Sylvania Campus. He is also a doctoral candidate at Oregon State University pursuing a degree in community college leadership.
