Background:
I have been teaching at PCC since 1996. In addition to my current courseload, I have taught ESR 203 Applied Evironmental Studies and BI 200 Principles of Ecology: Field Biology. I also have experience teaching plant physiology, introductory botany, and human anatomy and physiology. As part of my formal and informal education, I have lived in or visited a variety of places, including: Thailand, Venezuela, Alaska, Costa Rica, and Ecuador.
In addition to teaching, my work experience includes working in health care as a critical care registered nurse and as head of a public health education program in a refugee camp in Thailand.
