Hello and thanks for visiting. 

My name is Samantha Hopf. I am both a part-time instructor for PCC and a full-time member of the Financial Services division of PCC's Administrative Services.

As the FS Systems Administrator, my role is to support all of the technology functions that are performed by the various departments that make up Financial Services.

Information For Students:

You are welcome to contact me any time with questions regarding the courses I am teaching. At the bottom you will see information regarding the current term.  My full time office hours are 7:30am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday and I am located in Room 215 in the PCC Downtown Center (follow the link).   If you need an appointment, call or send an e-mail with your request.  Often I am in the Cascade classroom one hour prior to class or in Room 212 of the Cascade campus Tech Ed Building before class.

Introduction to Accounting, BA 111 is offered either in the classroom or as an on-line classes utilizing Distance Education /Desire 2 Learn.  Both formats use the same on-line environment and textbook for the course. Contact me if you would like to see a sample of the syllabus.
Principles of Accounting I & II,  BA 211 & 212  are hybrid format using classroom lecture and distance learning on-line. This will be taught using Desire 2 Learn and McGraw-Hill's CONNECT. Note: You must have both the Accounting text book and login to CONNECT to participate in this class. 
NOTE: Beginning 2012 Fall term - BA 211 & 212 are using a NEW TEXTBOOK. See the bookstore for details.
Principles of Accounting III,  BA 213 is a hybrid format using classroom lecture and distance learning on-line. This will be taught using Desire2Learn and McGraw Hill's CONNECT online system.  Note: You must have both the Accounting text book and login to CONNECT to participate in this class. 
Business Communications, BA 205 is a fully online course through distance learning using the Desire2Learn system.
