Winter term we are making a delightful quilt that is as old as the hills–a classic Rail Fence–but with a modern twist. Donna Jordan’s pattern is called Modern Rail Fence. You can download it here: https://jordanfabrics.com/pages/modern-rail-fence
This pattern is delightfully easy and has that old-timey look of a classic pattern. It finishes at 58″ x 65”, the perfect size for a lapquilt. (Note on the pattern site that it also gives yardage if you want to make the quilt a bit larger, using three borders rather than one.) It uses a jelly roll plus yardage. The site page also includes a video of how to make the quilt.
