- What We Do
p:ear creatively mentors homeless youth through education, art and recreation programs. Our unique approach creates a climate of hope and optimism built on stable, positive relationships between adults and youth.

Volunteers are the keystone at p:ear. Volunteers provide the much needed support to the programs and the positive relationships that homeless youth lack. p:ear offers a variety of volunteer opportunities including mentoring homeless and transitional youth in educational, arts and recreation activities, developing meal plans and preparing food and supporting our gallery. Volunteer hours are one day to 1/2 day a week, Tues-Friday, 8:15am-2:30pm . Volunteers must be at least 23 years old and go through our training program. Additionally, we have internships opportunities.
