Innovative Housing is a local non-profit that works to provide solutions to unmet housing needs. Within the buildings that we provide we also have many social services. Services include weekly group activities that meet the basic needs of this fragile demographic. The majority of our tenants have been chronically homeless and have zero income. At IHI we tailor activities to tenants that have physical and mental disabilities.

IHI is looking for any medical assistance for tenants that are uninsured and low income. Simple measures such as checking blood pressure will greatly benefit tenants. We are in dire need of foot specialists, and many tenants have expressed an interest. Our problem is that many of our tenants are limited by a disability, making it hard for them to leave the building. Students could benefit with the great experience of working with such a diverse population.
