The mission of Focus on Youth is to empower at-risk youth through photography by providing them with creative outlets to express themselves and mentors to nurture and inspire them. We bring together amateur and professional photographers who serve as volunteer mentors to teach digital photography and computer skills to low-income underserved  urban teens.

We  welcome volunteers to assist with all aspects of our program as well as special events.  Adults are needed to accomply youth on photo field trips around the city and to visit galleries and museums.  We also need volunteers to help with planning and producing our annual photography auction.
