What We Do

Wolftree serves people and their communities through innovative science education in the outdoors. The goal for our education program is to increase scientific and geographic literacy. We do this by enhancing young people's awareness and appreciation of Pacific Northwest forest and aquatic ecosystems, while cultivating fundamental skills in science and geography, and by increasing the number of ethnic minorities and female youth who seek academic and professional careers in science, geography, and natural resources.

Opportunities for service with us

Outdoor Science Education - Ecology field studies, research, monitoring and restoration for school students, 4th-12th grade.   Volunteer Mentor Training workshops twice a year - in the fall and spring.  If you are unable to attend a formal training - you can do in-field training.  Day-long or multiple day projects - Weekdays, approximately 9-3 - Check our website (http://www.beoutside.org/) for the latest calendar.
