Who Can Use the Online Writing Lab?

We understand that many students at PCC are busy juggling jobs, children, and school and may not be able to take advantage of on-campus tutoring  due to time or distance constraints and we welcome these students to the Online Writing Lab. 

What Can We Help You with?

  Got a quick question about grammar or citation?  Send us an  email and we’ll solve the mysteries of the written word for you—usually in less  than 24 hours.
  
• Stumped? 
  Have you been racking your brain for an essay topic?  At a loss as to  just what your teacher is after?  Or do you have an idea, but you’re not sure how  to get started?  Let us know where you’re stuck and we’ll work together to get  you unstuck.
  
• Online Tutorial
  Have you finished a draft of your paper, but aren’t  sure it’s the masterpiece you know you’re capable of?  Send your paper to one of  our writing advisors who can offer advice on any number of writing related issues.

What Can’t We Help You With?

Much as you might want us to be, the Online Writing Lab is not an editing service.  We won't simply proofread a copy of your paper for you or essentially re-write it, but we can show you how to edit and proofread your paper on your own.
