| Survival Tips for part-time Faculty |
| |
Event Campus: RC TLC
Event Details: Charlene Hansen, RC Evening Campus Coordinator, will lead this survival discussion. PT Faculty teaching in the evening or on Saturdays at Rock Creek can face challenges when it comes to dealing with unexpected situations that directly impact the classroom/learning environment. There are an amazing variety of situations that may occur during a class session leading PT Faculty to say, “I don’t know what to do”. From tips that you can share with your evening or Saturday students on the first day of your class, to tips that will guide you through potentially troublesome emergency and non-emergency situations that pop up during your class, this discussion is geared to provide PT Faculty with useful information before a problem situation presents itself. All faculty and staff are welcome to attend. PT Faculty Stipends provided by the RC TLC.
