Event Details: Dr. Varsha Ainapure, Fulbright post-doctoral scholar at Temple University, Philadelphia and Associate Professor at Khandwala College, Mumbai, India will present on online education and new opportunities made available by online education. She will share her research and discuss instructor's role to make online classes effective.

Event Details: The Teaching Improvement Program has been on the Rock Creek Campus since 1988. It uses a systematic approach to teaching improvement based on your individual needs. A trained Teaching Consultant assists your collection and analysis of data, development and implementation of teaching strategies, and recollection of data to assess effectiveness of your activities. Your consultation with the peer instructor continues on an individual basis throughout the term. Event Details: Addie Jones, the Coordinator of the Queer Resource Center, will speak to why gender segregated bathrooms are unsafe for many trans* and gender nonconforming people. They will go on to discuss how gender neutral bathrooms are a solution to the "bathroom problem," and help provide a safe and affirming campus environment for PCC's gender minority students, faculty, staff and community members. This session is open to all faculty, staff and students on campus. If you are planning to bring your class then please let Chris Kernion (ckernion@pcc.edu) know for preparation.
