Assignment description and sample topics: Students will be asked to research
the impacts of global climate change using the peer-reviewed literature in
order to develop a sequence of short papers of increasing complexity. My goal
here is to eventually teach students to find reliable and relevant sources of
information, read, understand and cite them correctly, and incorporate the
facts and ideas from those sources into their own, well-written,
well-supported papers without plagiarizing. I will send you the assignments
as soon as I develop them!
Upload class assignment and other relevant documents:
What are your learning outcomes for this session? I would like students to be
able to search effectively for peer-reviewed scientific publications,
download them and eventually cite them correctly.
