No If yes please specify: Assignment description and sample topics: The students in Level 8 Writing are going to write an Argument Essay. Students must do Internet research on their topic and the papers must include citations and a Works Cited page. Students will write on various controversial topics. Upload class assignment and other relevant documents: What are your learning outcomes for this session? It's important for students at this point (end of ESOL) to receive some good tips and guidance on how to do efficient and effective online research. I think many students rely on Wikipedia and feel rather lost and overwhelmed by the sheer volume of websites.
I would be thrilled with the learning outcomes listed above! Other notes: I have indicated 60 minutes for instruction, but if the process includes time for students to spend doing on their own afterward, I am more than happy to allow them a full two hours in the library.
