library instruction? Yes
If yes please specify: I will check in with students individually if they do
research specific to their essay topic after librarian's instruction.
Assignment description and sample topics: Comparison/Contrast essay
explaining and describing two possible future careers the student is
interested in pursuing. Two sources minimum for each topic need to be cited
(total of four sources minimum). The goal of the research and subsequent
essay is to give students a chance to look into two careers they may be
interested in pursuing in the future and by comparing these careers
discovering if either or both may be a good fit for them (their life goals,
personal preferences, etc.)
