If yes please specify: Assignment description and sample topics: I worked with Sara Seeley last term on an information literacy project for RD 115. This term, I would like to split that session in two. The first session can simply focus on how to use search engines more effectively. In the second section, I would like to move into library centered resources.
I have two sections of RD 115--one from 8-9:50 and the second from 12-1:50 and they both meet T/TH. Ideally, I'd like to have a session in week 3 or 4 to talk about smarter use of internet search. Then, in week 6 I'll introduce their final media literacy topic and I'd like a session about broader library resources for that class. Both sessions could be half a class--45 minutes if that helps with scheduling.
