No If yes please specify: Assignment description and sample topics: Assignment: "Adding to a Conversation." Students will be asked to write a researched essay on a topic of their choice (I'll provide sample topics once we get closer to the date of instruction). Students will not only choose their research topic/questions but will need to define a specific primary audience as well. Before the instruction students will be given an annotated bibliography assignment, which will ask them to annotate 4-6 sources representing multiple perspectives. For the essay itself, they will need to incorporate at least 3 sources, one of which must be scholarly.
