Assignment description and sample topics:
Cultural Research Speech. Assignment attached. Students will have already
learned about the assignment and should have considered and or selected a
topic prior to the library session.
*Last term the librarians tried something new - looking at interests and
values, I believe. It wasn't as effective as prior sessions. Students
needed a more basic database research tutorial. They liked learning about
the citation help online and the encyclopedias were a good edition in prior
terms for topic selection.
