Assignment description and sample topics: Students will be embarking on their
Information Literacy project. They will be clarifying topics and working on
focusing their questions about the topic. They will also be asked to
determine credibility of sources and the relevance of sources to their
questions.
Students will be able to (check all that apply):
- Develop a search strategy based on their research topics (15 minutes)
- Differentiate between scholarly journals and magazines (15 minutes)
- Construct a query for journal, magazine, or newspaper articles and
evaluate best choices in the results list (25 minutes)
