**Identify a problem that needs solving or a situation that needs changing in your school,workplace, community or personal life. Explain how your proposed action will result in solving the problem or will implement a process for improvement.
Topics: Recommending a way to raise money for a non-profit event, create a plan to meet the financial obligations of your education upon graduation, propose a menu and sources for more vegan options in the school cafeteria etc. Students will be able to (check all that apply): - Develop a search strategy based on their research topics (15 minutes) - Perform an efficient search of the library catalog for books and other materials (15 minutes) - Differentiate between scholarly journals and magazines (15 minutes) Other notes: Academic sources will not always be the best option for some projects. Government document sites(ODOT - Bureau of Labor Statistics etc.) and some retail companies might be best to assess oosts of materials or other info.
