This room is reserved primarily for library instruction. If you would like to collaborate with a librarian for an instruction session, please send your request and a librarian on your campus will contact you.
Please contact Debbi Lomax if you would like to reserve the library classroom for a different use which does not require a librarian. You may not reserve the room more than one week in advance unless it is for library instruction.

The students need to find three or four legitimate sources on CCD, and they can't use Wikipedia as a primary source. Students will be able to (check all that apply): - Develop a search strategy based on their research topics (15 minutes) - Perform an efficient search of the library catalog for books and other materials (15 minutes) - Differentiate between scholarly journals and magazines (15 minutes) - Construct a query for journal, magazine, or newspaper articles and evaluate best choices in the results list (25 minutes) Other notes: I really want them to focus on the databases more than Google search, but some time on Google is OK.
