WR 122 Robbins *jr

80 minutes of instruction requested. Do you need time to discuss non-library matters with your class on the day of library instruction? Yes
If yes please specify: Always a few clarifications and reminders, usually at the end of class
Assignment description and sample topics: The first assignment will be a 2-3 page essay on an aspect of human consciousness of their choosing (within
limits). They will have a few readings, but need to find one more in a
slightly more specific area of consciousness for use in their first essay.

What are your learning outcomes for this session? To leave with one good essay/article on an area of interest under the subject of consciousness. I'm hoping for a writing that is accessible to them, but written by a professional or very thoughtful character, and one that references other writings for them to explore.
