3 p.m. - 4:50 p.m.

GD 239 Meyer *bk

I would like instruction on image research and copyright issues relating to use of images. They will be using images for illustration and I would like an explanation about the copyright usage of images used for reference when drawing.

For image research I am interested in high resolution photos, also researching illustrators, include ARTstor or other fine art and graphic representation and publications. As for copyright I need for them to have a good understanding of what can be used and how they can use reference to draw/design from and what limitations there are when they use something as reference for their work.

What are your learning outcomes for this session? For the students to have increased search skills for images and to gain greater understanding of copyright restrictions on the use of images.
Other notes: I do not know how long the session should be. My class starts at 2:00 and lasts until 4:50. The session could be scheduled anytime after 2:15pm on April 1.
