Assignment description and sample topics: The students are writing a final, argumentative research paper that is 8+ pages in length and uses a minimum of one print source. The students will have turned in topic proposals the week prior and should know their research needs. Attached is the assignment. Students should become familiar with library tools, develop an understanding of the value in working with a research librarian when tracking down useful articles, and to quickly identify peer-reviewed sources.
