Summer Choral Workshop at Rock Creek Campus

The Performing Arts Department at the Rock Creek Campus will present its first Summer Choral Workshop (MUS199 Choral Workshop) from July 28 to August 1, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm each day. The workshop is open to singers of all experience levels from high school age and above. Basic tuition is $176 (seniors 62 and over receive free tuition). Two college credits are available. This intensive and fun workshop will feature opportunities to sing in large and small groups, learn vocal skills exercises and music theory. The camp concludes on Friday with a gala concert. Instructors will include Pollyanna Hancock-Moody, Director of Choral Studies at Rock Creek, and Lonnie Cline, award-winning Jazz Choir Conductor from Clackamas Community College. Repertoire will include all styles, from Mozart to the Beatles to Duke Ellington. Come sing with us!

Location:The workshop will be held at the Forum Theater, Room 114 in Building 3 at the Rock Creek Campus at 17705 NW Springville Road, Portland. Free parking is available in the event center parking, and the school can be reached easily by Trimet buses 52, 47 and 67.
