8 a.m. - 12 p.m.

SE Center ESOL Placement Test

2305 SE 82nd Avenue, Portland, OR 97216 (SE 82nd & Division)

Students should take the ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Tests if: Your native language is NOT English - AND - Your goal is to learn English.

BEFORE YOU TAKE PLACEMENT TESTS:

1. Apply for Admissions ONLINE or IN PERSON at Mt. Tabor Hall, Windows 4, 5, and 6.
Students MUST Apply for Admissions at least 24 hours BEFORE Testing!

o Bring your picture ID and your student ID Number(G-Number).
o If you park on campus you are required to purchase a parking pass.

Note: If you are a current student at PCC, you do not need to re-apply.

2. Choose Test Date and Time from Schedule

ON THE DAY OF THE TEST:
1. Arrive Early to Test! Testing Center Mt. Tabor Hall, Room 107

NO appointment needed; come 10 minutes early and CHECK IN,
Mt. Tabor, Room 107; first 25 students will be tested as a group; others will have to come back on another day. This campus does not provide drop-in testing for ESOL placement.

2. Bring your picture ID AND your PCC Student ID (‘G’ number).

3. Plan to stay for 2 to 3 hours. Tests are not timed, so take your time!

AFTER TEST:
1. Test scores and placement results are printed after you finish all tests

2. You will receive Advising & Orientation appointment to get your class schedule

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
No Children are allowed in Testing Room or unattended outside of the Testing Room
No food or drinks allowed
No cell phones, pages, language dictionaries, etc.
Calculators, pencils, and scratch paper are provided
