SY A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant & A Prayer

PCC Sylvania Women’s Resource Center (WRC) has produced “The Vagina Monologues,” for over 13 years as part of the global V-Day campaign to end violence against women and girls. This year, the WRC is premiering the new Eve Ensler play, “A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant, & A Prayer.” The play is part of the continued effort to create awareness about men’s role in the efforts to end violence. This new production includes first person accounts from men and women and several men in the PCC community are part of the play.

The production will premiere on Friday, April 5 at 7pm in the Little Theatre located in the HT Building on the Sylvania Campus. The second showing will be the following day, April 6 at the same location. Doors will open on both nights at 6pm. Tickets for general admission are $7 and $5 for students and they can be purchased from the Women’s Resource Center or at the door.

The production benefits PCC: SAFE (Sexual Assault Free Environment), a Primary Sexual Assault Prevention Program, the only one of its kind on a community college campus in the US.

For more information or to get involved please contact the Women’s Resource Center at 971-722-8101 or wrc@pcc.edu. We hope to see you there!
