SY The Taming of the Shrewd

The PCC Foundation and the PCC Players present Shakespeare’s The Taming Of The Shrew like you have never seen it before. Taking a cue from the Italian form of theatre known as Commedia dell'Arte, each performance will be completely improvised and actors will perform multiple characters with the simple change of a mask . . . or nose . . . or other body part. But the beloved farce remains basically intact as Petruchio tries to tame the wild Kate and Young Lucentio hopes to marry the lovely but not too bright Bianca. The PCC Players are made up of current PCC faculty and students and a number of PCC alums. Suggested admission at the door is a donation of $15, $10 for students, but larger donations will receive hearty thanks and appreciation.
