Please contact Carrie Peterson if you would like to reserve the library classroom for a different use which does not require a librarian. You may not reserve the room more than one week in advance unless it is for library instruction.

Instructor name: Michelle Robbins Students refer to me as: Michelle Instructor e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org Instructor phone: Instructor location: Rock Creek Preferred contact: e-mail Course subject: Reading - RD Course number: 115 Course CRN: 13153 Number of Students: 30 ADA provisions needed: Preferred Date: 2013-03-01 Preferred Time: 1:00 pm Alternate Date: 2013-03-04 Alternate Time: 1:00 pm Duration: 60Minutes Do you need time to discuss non-library matters with your class on the day of library instruction? No If yes please specify: Assignment description and sample topics: Information Literacy project. I will have introduced the project, but students will need instruction in appropriate topics for research (briefly), how to perform searches, and resources available. I want them to consider the credibility of their sources as well. Plus, any other related instruction is always appreciated! I can send the assignment to the librarian ahead of time. In fact, I may send an early version for suggestions before finalizing it. I am not attaching the docs now, because this is pretty far out and I haven't finalized the assignment yet. I generally require an annotated bibliography as the final product, but I want them to go through the steps as though they were going to write a research paper.
Let me know if you have any questions! And I'm happy to hear any suggestions. Thank you! Upload class assignment and other relevant documents: What are your learning outcomes for this session? All of those listed above!
