Assignment description and sample topics: Students will be in the middle of a
basic research project that is essentially about information literacy. The
students will choose their own topics and develop them through their research
throughout the course of the whole term based on their information need.
This session will be towards the beginning of this process and so will need
basic training on keyword searching on Google, etc. and basic information
about how to evaluate websites and other information that they find.

What are your learning outcomes for this session? Develop a search strategy
and evaluation criteria for the results based on their evolving research
Other notes: Again, apparently Robin Shapiro helped Theresa Love do this in
the past. These are students who often have technological challenges and so
