What are your learning outcomes for this session?
Since the students topics will be varied and may not require the type of
research tasks usual for a more academically oriented topic, using google and
google scholar,government web sites trade publications and
consumer reports and organizational websites could be stressed. Also,
judging the value and credibility
of websites and their domains should be emphasized. Items 1, 2, & 5 on your
learning outcome list would also be helpful.
Other notes: Would like to reserve the instructional room until 3:00 for
preliminary research session.
