Assignment description and sample topics: Students will be writing a
professional proposal to solve a problem or address an opportunity in their
field of study. Past topics have included proposals to build a cob classroom
for teaching environmental science classes, create a PCC app for mobile
devices, implement a composting program at a restaurant, reconfigure PCC's
international student orientation, create a retreat for clients of an
underserved youth outreach program, etc. More information will be provided
as students choose their topics.

What are your learning outcomes for this session? Develop a search strategy
based on their topic, effectively search the web, identify stakeholders and
appropriate resources.
