Writing 121 students must write a research paper using three articles from our databases. They can choose their own topic. You may use one of your favorite - generic - search terms to demonstrate...a topic about a social or political issue would be good.

What are your learning outcomes for this session?
Learn to navigate the databases, being able to e-mail articles to self and to store in a folder. Learn basic jargon like peer reviewed, full text, pdf copy, etc. Learn to locate newspaper articles, Oregonian and NYT.
