Dental Assisting
This program prepares the student for certification as a dental assistant (CDA). The dental assistant is a professional member of the dental team, working with and asssisting the dentist during clinical procedures. Dental assistants also teach oral health principles and must be prepared to assume dental office management responsibilities.
PCC offers a one-year Certificate program that is fully accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation. Applications are accepted between October 1st and April 15th for entry the following fall.
