Welding Technology classes are offered in open entry, open exit format. Start anytime in the term. Set your own attendance pattern. Modify the program to fit your needs. Program advising is required before registering for classes.

An additional fee of $12.00 per credit hour will be charged for all shop welding classes.

Rock Creek Campus

Rock Creek Campus Welding classes are held in Building 2 Weld Shop room 132.

Entrance to the Rock Creek Welding Program is by wait list only. Contact a Welding Representative in the Rock Creek Weld Shop for further information. Program advising is required before registering for classes. For the Compass testing times, please consult the schedule or call the testing department at Rock Creek at 971-722-7300.

Rock Creek welding classes are held Monday - Thursday:

Mornings 7:00 am to 12:00 pm

Afternoons Noon to 5:00 pm

Evenings 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Rock Creek now offers welding classes on Fridays:

Noon to 8:00 pm

Southeast Center - Swan Island

Southeast Center Welding classes are offered at the Swan Island Ship Repair Yard at Vigor Industrial Welding Training Center, 5555 N Channel Ave, Portland.

Swan Island Welding classes are held Monday through Thursday in the afternoons (noon-4:50 pm) and in the evenings (5:00-9:50 pm). There is currently a wait list for the Swan Island Welding Program.
