Explores the boundaries of advanced digital photography to cultivate a personal practice while placing work within a historical, social and cultural context. Explores the critical skills necessary to expand perceptual and visual cultural awareness by using a broad range of advanced digital processes and concepts. Encourages further development of a professional-level photographic practice. Requires access to a camera with manual exposure controls, DSLR (digital single-lens-reflex) cameras are preferred. This is the third course in a three-course sequence for second year digital photography. Prerequisite: Two terms of ART240 or ART240B or instructor permission.
