Trains students in the basic skills required for wildland fire fighting. Students will study wildland fire behavior, fire control tactics, human factors on the fireline, standards for fire fighter safety and survival, and receive an introduction to the incident command system.  (For detailed information, see the Course Content and Outcome Guide ).
