9WRI610J Writing True Stories II
For writers comfortable with the creative nonfiction genre, this class focuses on a variety of creative nonfiction assignments and in-class workshopping. You will complete several essays, including meditative, ideas, and profile pieces.
True stories make us laugh and think, inspire us into action, and expand our worldviews. They give us a window into the lives of our neighbors, our communities, and the world at large. True stories provide a platform for us to write and read the narratives that engage and excite us, a place to tell our own stories and the stories unfolding all around us.
